Experience | How I work

A practical way to turn ambiguous product systems into shipped work.

My work tends to sit where product judgment, implementation detail, and operating constraints all have to be understood at the same time.

Surfaces
Web, mobile, Wear OS, product systems, and launch surfaces.
Patterns
State, sync, validation, recovery, and release readiness.
Working mode
Frame the problem, build the system, and fortify the fragile edges.
Current fit
Ambiguous product and workflow problems where judgment and implementation move together.

I am most useful when the work is still becoming legible.

The most useful work starts with an ambiguous product or systems problem. I move between definition and implementation: making users, constraints, and decisions explicit, building a useful version, testing fragile state, and tightening delivery until the result can stand on its own.

The examples are meant to be inspected, not just skimmed.

TrailScope

Android and Wear OS proof connecting GPX import, watch sync, recoverable workouts, GPX/FIT output, and release evidence.

Poolhouse

Web and mobile proof connecting four pool formats with validation, private group state, realtime scoring, and live standings.

Writing

Notes that expose the reasoning behind interrupted state, recovery, trusted workflows, product boundaries, and release evidence.

Launch readiness

This site's accessibility, privacy-aware assets, image-metadata checks, performance budgets, link checks, and production freshness make release discipline inspectable.

The work spans interfaces, workflows, and the state behind them.

Mobile and wearable products

Cross-device flows where offline behavior, sync, recovery, and user trust are product requirements.

Web and cross-platform apps

Polished interfaces that still handle validation, private state, realtime updates, and repeated use.

Workflow reliability and recovery

State-heavy flows with durable defaults, clear validation, recovery paths, and understandable failure behavior.

Launch and evaluation loops

Readiness across copy, accessibility, performance, evidence, rollout sequencing, and review.

The throughline is judgment under constraints.

  1. 01

    Frame

Make the users, risks, constraints, and decision points explicit.

  2. 02

    Build

Create working systems that produce evidence instead of polished assumptions.

  3. 03

    Fortify

Tighten the edges where state, data, collaboration, and launch pressure meet.

Independent now, with room to grow deliberately.

This personal site shows the independent work I can do today while keeping business status and contact paths aligned with what is true.
